Biography: 

Stuart MacMillan is an independent consultant, most widely known for his Leadership of the Scan4Safety Programme across the West Yorkshire Association of Acute Trusts (WYAAT), a collaborative of 6 acute Trusts with a shared vision to provide the best patient outcomes through innovation. Stuart is a huge advocate of standards & digital in healthcare and has over 10 years of experience in the NHS, most recently leading Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust through successful implementation of GS1 standards, bringing about improved patient safety, reduced wastage and substantial financial savings.
